Nestled in a shopping center in the northwest Columbus, Ohio
suburb of Upper Arlington and designated with the city’s “Best
New Business of 2008” award is probably one of Central Ohio’s
best kept secrets for dining, dancing and entertainment. New and
architecturally unique, the Arlington Entertainment Complex,
locally owned and operated, is available to host just about
anything from a simple, casual, after work get together of
friends to a special night of live music and dancing to that
more formalized memorable family event or corporate dinner
function. Conveniently, it is a family of operations comprising
over 25,000 square feet all under one roof yet each with its own
distinct ambience easily accessible in a safe environment with
lots of free parking.

The
Arlington Entertainment Complex consists of five different
venues: Arlington Banquets and Catering, the Arlington Café,
Cazzie’s, Onyx and the Patio. Each is functionally designed to
accommodate whatever the audience and occasion dictates.
Anchoring the complex is Arlington Banquets, a large, ballroom
type facility available for rent for those important structured
events, including formalized corporate meetings and seminars,
business luncheons, recognition/awards banquets, wedding
rehearsal dinners and receptions, class reunions, charity
auctions, engagement, graduation or holiday parties and bar
mitzvahs. More intimate than a hotel facility, the possibilities
are endless for groups up to 300-350 people. It is beautifully
decorated with chandelier lighting, a separate entrance and
pre-function area and is equipped with the latest,
state-of-the-art audiovisual technology.
At the other side of the spectrum are the more informal and
casual Cazzie’s and the Arlington Café. For after-work
socializing and happy hours, Cazzie’s is ideal for smaller
gatherings and/or groups up to 100. On Friday and Saturday
nights, it features live bands and during the day the well-lit,
open environment can be enhanced through the operation of a
retractable roof. The Arlington Café is best described as a
little more upbeat than Cazzie’s and more activity oriented. It
also features Friday and Saturday night specialized
entertainment with a DJ and separate space for dancing. There is
a sports bar feel with a number of large video screens as well
as billiard tables, foosball and air hockey all served with the
widest variety of cold beverages.
For the nicer weather months, the enclosed Patio provides a
pleasant, outdoorsy escape for interested patrons. Located next
to the Arlington Café and between it and Onyx dance club, the
Patio provides an intimate, open-air courtyard feel. It is
equipped with its own large, full-service bar and features the
soothing sounds of an outdoor water fountain. It also features
large TV monitors on an outside wall for sports event viewing.
Finally to complete the package for this truly unique and
fascinating entertainment complex, there is the spectacular
Onyx, one of the newest and hottest dance club spots in Central
Ohio. In the spirit of Miami’s South Beach, Onyx not only
features a state-of-the-art sound system and lighting and
thirty-foot, full-service bar, but a private, intimate VIP room
that can be reserved for private parties or themed events for
those extra special friends and family members.
There you have it, the new and exciting Arlington Entertainment
Complex. There is a no more unique or versatile facility for
food, beverage and entertainment in Central Ohio. There’s
